    Great starter embroidery machine
This is my first embroidery machine. I am learning that the manual does not state how particular you have to be with bobbin size, needle choice, and thread. Trial and error is a tough way to learn - but the projects I’ve completed make me want to keep learning. If you purchase make sure you seek out support groups and experts to guide you along the journey.

    An Amazing Machine!
The PE770 Embroidery Machine is truly an amazing machine! Why? Because once the design is in its memory, it stitches out the design on its own time after time! I clean it according to the manuel, and my PE770 is stitching like it did when I 1st purchase it! It was the best investment made by me! I posted pics so you can see what I have made! By the way this was a refurbish machine from Ken Sewing Center, and the discounted price was to my liking and budget. Worth every penny! I would purchase it again!

    Best value for the price
This machine does an excellent job for all of my sewing needs. The machine is easy to use. My 11 year old granddaughter can even use the machine.

    A good little machine!
I was looking to replace my Singer Confidence when I came across this machine. I wasn't sure if I wanted a computerized machine, but my Brother has changed my mind. It's very easy to use, and comes with a manual that explains everything if you don't understand how to use a feature. Overall I am very happy with my purchase!

    Best sewing machine
For the price, this is the best sewing machine I've had. Living on a limited income, this machine provided ease of operation: push bottom power and speed control, automatic threaded, and thread cutter. Also, the wider space to the right of the needle allows for easier maneuvering of the fabric for machine quilting.

    Great Machine
I've only had my machine since 05/13/22015. But I can't say enough good things about this machine. I'm still learning all it's features. Having unlimited lessons is very helpful since there is no way you could learn or remember what this machine is capable of doing. I've been very lucky to have one on one lessons. If you could afford this beautiful machine get it , you will have no regrets.

What a machine! Fast, quiet and solid. Sews beautifully (of course) and the embroidery is fabulous. But what is so amazing is all the goodies that come as part of the package. Tons of feet, the upgraded foot pedal, the scanning hoop, etc etc etc. There just aren't too many basics to add- they're already there. I'm having a ton of fun with this machine. LOVE IT!

    A Very Nice Embroidery Machine
I have the Brother Simplicity SB7900E. It is an embroidery only machine. I’ve had it 5 months and have used it a few times a week. I upgraded from the Brother SE400 because I wanted a larger hoop, and I wanted to be able to use designs that I have saved to a USB jump drive and not have to hook up my computer to the machine (like you do with the SE400). I compared the P770, DZ820E and the SB7900E. I was going to buy one online but went to a local quilt shop/Brother dealer to see the machines in ... read more person. They only had the SB7900E. The price was similar to the other machines but came with the BES lettering software (they say a $400 value). There were also a few other options that made this one the better machine and I liked that I could buy it locally and take classes there. Note that the Brother website overview of the 7900E does not show that it has a USB port if you are comparing machines, but it does. You create your own designs and monograms in the BES and put them on a USB drive and then upload them to the machine to stitch out. Because I had owned the SE400, I was able to pull this one out of the box and use it immediately. It’s pretty easy to use. I put the BES software onto my laptop and was able to use that also. It’s similar to any windows program. It works fine on windows 8, though it’s an older version of the program. I did take a class on the software to learn all those little things that make it easier to use. I have no complaints about the machine. It has nice quality stitching. You need to use quality thread, not $1 spool discount stuff. I’m using Madeira as that is what was sold and used at the shop where I bought it. I didn’t like the #90 bobbin thread that came with the machine and switched to the #60 that came with my SE400. The machine seemed to like it better. I haven’t had to touch the tension settings. It’s still set as it came out of the box and working fine. The auto needle threader is fantastic. Really speeds up thread changes. You can fill the bobbins on the machine, then just drop one in the bobbin case and run thread through one channel and it’s done. It comes with the 5x7” hoop, and I bought a 4x4” hoop to use with smaller pieces of fabric. I was hoping I could use my SE400 hoops on this one but they have a different connector. The 7900E has a metal tab that you have to push to the left as you drop on the hoop. It takes a little practice, but once you get it, the hoop slides right on (drop the front on first, then the back just drops right in and you let go of the tab). The machine comes with 136 embroidery designs on it. I’ve only used 1 of them so far, but it stitched out nicely. I bought a few designs online and they stitched out nicely also. It comes with 6 fonts, but I’ve mostly used the fonts that come in the BES program, creating my words/designs/monograms and then uploading onto the machine from the USB. The program has over 150 fonts in it. I’m very happy with this machine.

    SB7900E is fantastic
This is my first embroidery machine--bought it at Northwest Sewing Center in Austin Texas. EASY to use, FUN to use. The store where I bought it was super helpful in guiding me to the right machine for me. I knew I wanted a Brother because I have a Brother serger and it is easy and reliable. I love Brother products.
