I am new to this machine!
The machine works pretty well on the few projects I have tried. I have experienced difficulty cutting fabric, but I only made one attempt. The only place to buy supplies is at the sewing store and their stock is limited. I usually go to the other two craft stores. This is a drawback. However, I owned a Cricut and did not like the expense and limitation of having to buy the cartridges and being limited to the cartridge content for that machine. I do like the ScanNCut canvas and would like to see ... read more more projects there.

    having fun learning this ScanNCut
I have had this product for a while and had not opened the box. Took it out and read through the instructions and was having fun the first night. So much help from brother.com and their UTube videos.

    Love my ScanNCut!
The CM650W is perfect for appliqué, my main use so far. It is so easy to send images from the cloud and the ScanNCut Canvas is available wherever I am, so convenient! I plan to try the embossing tool this week and the rhinestone tool too. So much I can do, so little time

Great for cutting quilt applique patterns
I've had a few quilt applique patterns for 10+ years that I've never made because they are so complicated - the pieces are odd shaped, some are tiny, some are really thin, etc. I scanned the pattern in to the Scan and Cut and now I can finally make these applique designs. The scanning is fairly easy and it cuts beautifully.

    Good purchase
This was one of the best purchases I have every made. This is just what was needed at the school my granddaughter attends to save time on cutting out paper items for the display board and for the students to use.

    Scan N Cut
I really like my scan N Cut and enjoy doing all the different things with it. The only regret I have is that you cannot buy of the accessories for it in the store. So far it’s all online. Brothers dealerships are two hours away from me! And even farther away from others people I know that have scanned n cut. I know you can get it at JoAnn’s and Michael’s and other places now but you still have to order it online, you can’t walk into the store to get it. As far as I know. This is a great machine ... read more though and I’ve really enjoyed it. I’d love to get the one that goes with my brothers embroidery sewing machine someday. Janie

    Love my ScanNCut2
I have done a lot of projects on my ScanNCut and it has never let me down. I have completed decorative paper frames for pictures for my granddaughter, a vinyl monogram with a decorative frame for a wedding gift, many door decorations for my grandchildren all appropriate to their interests, HTV shirts, vinyl monograms for SS mugs, and the list goes on. My only complaint would be that the mats don't hold their sticky for as long as I would like, other than that, THANKS for a wonderful product ... read more for my creative side!

    luv my new cutting machine
I bought this on hsn. payments are affordable. I use for my quilting. cuts r so precise and sharp. I hated cutting pieces because they did not come out right. I would like to add designs to this so I hope they come out with more designs to transfer to machine.

probably the first PR100E embroidery machine
Have had my Brother scanNcut for over 2 years, and have not learned exactly how to utilize all that it can do. Just recently did a free upgrade to 1.80. I would really like a simple tutorial showing each step in plain language.
