Multiple copies of the driver are installed after reconnecting the printer to
the computer or laptop with a USB cable. The print queue shows the print job
with the status "Error Printing". What can I

same USB port it was previously connected to. Otherwise, Windows will install
another copy of the printer driver and the printer will no longer print. Most
computers have two or more USB ports. To prevent this problem from occurring we
would recommend labeling the end of the USB cable to indicate which USB port the
cable must be reconnected to.
1. Power off the
printer using the power switch on the printer.
2. Open the Printers
folder. Refer to the following solution for instructions if needed -
