Software Updates


When a software update is released for Aveneer, it is wirelessly pushed to your machine and the wireless icon will display an exclamation mark when available. The easiest way to download the software update is using your wireless network (Wi-Fi.) However, the success of the install depends on the strength and stability of your wireless connection. When you connect your machine to your Wi-Fi, ensure you select the 2.4Ghz band. The software update is also published to the Brother Solutions Center website. Here, you can download the update to a USB device and install on your machine. Please refer to the video below. You can view the instructions while downloading the latest software update to your PC.


Go to page #7 in setting mode on your Aveneer.


It is imperative that you keep your machine on until you receive the “completed” notification that the software has installed. Powering off the machine during an install may cause damage to your machine. The installation can take up to 15 minutes and in some cases, you may experience a black screen. Once the “completed” notification displays, you may turn off your machine.
