I bought this for home use. We print alot of coupons and have kids in school. Print quality is always what you would expect from a laser printer. We have been using this for seven months and no issues. Very economical to own if you print alot of black and white items. Bought this on sale at an office store for less than I could replace a set of inkjet cartridges. This is great for a small office also.

The HL 2240 is an improvement over the HL 2140 in that it is quieter. Both are virtual work horses! The 2240, like my 2140 was reasonably priced and is trouble free.
You cannot go wrong. I have printed thousands of pages—Appellate briefs in three appellate courts. I highly recommend the Brother HL2240 (and for that matter, the whole Brother line.

I love this printer. It works perfectly with my computer. It is much less costly to use than the ink jet I replaced. It was very easy to set up.
