This foot looks similar to the picot foot from the top The groove under the foot is slightly wider and flatter to form and to create a beautiful narrow hem
This foot attaches zippers and pipings easily. Its position can be adjusted exactly on the edge of the zipper/piping, avoiding the non-flat parts of them. It also presses the fabric with just the right pressure.
Zipper, Piping and Trim application foot Adjustable zipper foot for left or right seams Adjustable guide to accommodate varying piping dimensions Single stitch opening for accurate and perfect straight stitch creation *** Requires Low Shank Adapter for ULT Series, PC-6500, PC-8200 and PC-8500 sewing machines

This non-stick foot glides over difficult fabric surfaces with ease, while improving stitch quality in many problem fabrics Some fabrics may bind under metal feet often causing problems with a consistant feed resulting in poor stitch quality The non stick foot overcomes problems with fabric such as loop and hook tapes, leather and vinyl. Perfect for hemming plastic tablecloths!
For quilt and patchwork piecing with 1/4" or 1/8" seam allowances. Using the center needle, straight stitch position, the right front edge of this foot provides a guide for creating even ¼-inch seams for quilts, doll clothes and heirloom sewing projects. When using the left side of the foot as a guide, an 1/8-inch seam is created.
The adjustable guide on this foot offers perfectly centered hands free placement of cords, ribbon, braiding, or tape up to 5mm in width. 1. Loosen the screw on the presser foot and insert a braid through the guide before attaching the presser foot on the machine. 2. Slide the plate of the guide back and forth to fit the width of the braid. 3. Tighten the screw and pull the braid behind the presser foot. 4. Attach the presser foot onto the machine. 5. Set the zig zag width slightly wider than the width of the braid. 6. Stitch braid in place.
This foot is also called a darning foot and may be used as a free motion foot. The foot raises and lowers with the needle to allow fabric to be moved between stitches and to hold fabric in place while stitches are created. 1. Lower the feed dogs. 2. Set the machine for straight stitch. 3. Place the fabric beneath the presser foot. 4. Use both hands to hold the fabric firmly. 5. Begin to sew moving the fabric at an even pace. (Screw on Foot. The Fringe foot is a good tool for creating 3-D flowers, heirloom seam joins, surface texture and custom trims with a simple zig zag stitch. This foot was originally designed and used to mark construction details by creating tailor tacking, so feel free to use it as a great marking too as well!
The Gathering Foot can be used for lightly gathering fabric as well as attaching the gathered edge to a flat (ungathered) fabric, at the same time quickly and easily. The gathering foot will allow the sewer to gently ease or slightly gather fabric for various garment and home decorating applications.
The adjustable guide can be used to sew parallel rows at preset even intervals. Slide straight bar into the hole of the presser foot ankle or walking foot (equipped with a mounting hole). The distance from the needle may be adjusted by sliding the guide from left to right.
The walking foot is a moving feed system that holds and moves fabric between the presser foot's upper feed dog and the machines's lower feed dogs to better control difficult fabrics as well as multiple layers of fabric. The walking foot is great for quilting, sewing when matching prints or plaids or fabric drift is an issue . Brother offers several Walking feet which differ in the size of the feed dog, shank height etc. Please check your manual or the machine listings on this web site to find the correct walking foot to fit your machine. Walking Feet are not for use in reverse or side to side sewing as well as some built in stitches that include other than forward movement of the feed dogs.
