The MFC-9840CDW is the ultimate color laser Multi-Function Center® that offers superior quality color laser printing, faxing, copying and scanning‡ with built-in network connectivity. Delivering the same print speed, copy speed and output quality as the MFC-9440CN, the MFC-9840CDW adds automatic duplex (2-sided input/output) for printing, copying, faxing and scanning‡, a legal-size document glass, up to 50-sheet auto document feeder, as well as an integrated 802.11b/g wireless interface.

  • Fast color laser printing and outstanding print quality. Delivers an impressive color and monochrome print speed of up to 21 pages per minute, and copy speeds of up to 17 copies per minute. Produce brilliant, colorful presentations, brochures and documents that will give you a competitive edge.
  • Flexible connectivity. Print, scan or send faxes wirelessly as well as the ability to install the MFC on a wired network or connect locally to a single computer via USB.
  • Advanced duplex capability. Save paper and reduce costs by printing two-sided documents and booklets. Plus, two-sided scanning using the auto document feeder for copying, scanning and faxing‡.
  • Versatile paper handling. A 250-sheet capacity paper tray adjustable for letter or legal paper and a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray for envelopes, labels, letterhead or cardstock.
  • Expandable paper capacity. You can increase your total paper capacity to 800 sheets by adding an optional 500-sheet letter/legal paper tray‡.
  • Legal-size document glass. Ample room for placing larger documents, books, magazines and other materials on the document glass for scanning or copying.
  • High quality color scanning. Use the legal size document glass to scan a single page or the 50-page capacity auto document feeder to scan multiple pages at a time (up to legal size).
  • High-speed faxing. Send and receive faxes quickly in b&w or color using its high-speed 33.6K bps fax modem.
  • Easily accessible USB Direct Interface. Conveniently print PDF or JPEG files from or scan PDF or JPEG files to a USB flash memory drive. You can also print directly from a PictBridge compatible digital camera.
