Find a Brother Authorized Service Center (“ASC”)

ASCs are Brothers preferred option for product repair. Our network of Brother ASCs provides convenient locations for Brother repairs. Find your closest Brother ASC here.

Independent Repair Providers

Independent Repair Providers have access to genuine Brother parts and repair resources. Independent Repair Providers do not provide repairs covered by Brother’s warranty but may offer their own repair warranty.

Unless required by law, repairs made by Independent Repair Providers are not backed by Brother. Any damage to your product incurred by an independent repair provider is not covered by Brother’s Limited Warranty. Any damage incurred as a result of repairs performed by an independent repair provider may void Brother’s Limited Warranty.

Self Service Repair

Self Service Repair is intended for individuals with the knowledge and experience to repair Brother products. If you are experienced with the complexities of repairing these products, Self Service Repair provides you with access to genuine Brother parts and repair manuals to perform your own out-of-warranty repair. Follow these steps to perform a variety of out-of-warranty repairs for your Brother device.

Unless required by law, repairs made by Individuals are not backed by Brother. Any damage that your product may incur in the course of self-repair is not covered by Brother’s Limited Warranty. Any damage incurred to a Brother product through self-repair may void Brother’s Limited Warranty.


1. Start with the Service Manual

Read the Service Manual for your Brother product model to familiarize yourself with the steps required and the parts, tools, and materials needed for your product model and repair type. Brother part number will be needed to purchase the part.

 

2. Order parts and tools for product repair

Please contact Brother Customer Service if you would like to purchase Brother genuine parts to repair your product at: (https://www.brother-usa.com/contact-us). Your product serial number is required for genuine Brother part purchases. The serial number for your product will be in the products’ Service Manual.

Genuine Brother parts are engineered and tailored for each product and go through extensive testing to ensure the highest quality, integrity, safety, and reliability. These are the same parts that we make available to Brother Authorized Service Centers.

 

3. Repair your device

After receiving the genuine Brother parts, follow the instructions in the repair manual for your Brother product to perform the repair for your device.

 

4. Dispose or Recycle replaced parts

Please dispose or recycle the replaced part in accordance with your local laws.
