    Absolutely great machine
The Scan and Cut machine has been terrific. I am not finding any glitches with the physical product. However, the Canvas program needs a lot of work to make it a good program. For example, the nodes are impossible to use as they are all bunched up. Lots of other problems in the program also. I am using my Floriani program to edit now. Please work on fixing Canvas and give us more user-friendly options.

    Brother scanNcut best purchases..EVER
I recently purchased the scanNcut because I like appliqué but have been finding cutting a lot of pieces to be causing my hands to ache. I recently completed a quilt of flowers and ivy, it was so slick and easy using the scanNcut. I was able to use the built in designs for my leaves-AMAZING!!!

Oh how I love this machine!
And I'll love it even more when I have learned more about it. I think people will love it for different reasons because there isn't much it can't do. My favorite thing is that I can stamp with my old wood-backed stamps, cut them out perfectly, and then place the cutout where I want it. It virtually eliminates the need to but dies. And it can cut right on the edge as I like it or you can cut with a border, your choice of size. I can't say enough good about it. It is really extraordinary. You ... read more should get one of your own - soon.

Great addition to a sewing/quilting studio
Even though I have two other cutting systems, the Scan-N-Cut has been a great addition to my sewing/quilting studio. I was surprised at how easy it is to scan my personal designs into the scanner to obtain professional and precision cuts on fabric for appliquéing. In no time, I had scanned the pattern pieces from Margie Ullery-Payson's "Spring Skinnie" quilt featured in Quilltmaker March 2013 magazine to create my version of this fun quilt. Thanks " your side" for an awesome product!

    so far
I was so excited to get this machine, but SO FAR, I have made a mess of the tacky sheets, and I think there should be more how to explanations in the manual. It did not come with a scanning sheet for photos and such, and SO FAR I have not attempted anything like that. I did cut out some card stock and it was good, but I have to go online and search for how to videos, maybe an idea book would be great for this machine. I am still learning, SO FAR SO GOOD>

    Great cutter; Good Scanner
One must be very careful in scanning that things are black and dark or light grey figures, not even near-black or near-white. Otherwise the sensitive scanner has the machine try to cut out dots and lines. Except for that, the machine is wonderful, especially for folks with arthritis who can no longer use scissors, or those who are klutzy whose matte knives produce ragged cut outs.

    Good purchase
This was one of the best purchases I have every made. This is just what was needed at the school my granddaughter attends to save time on cutting out paper items for the display board and for the students to use.

    Amazing Machine
I've tried other die cutting machines and this one bypasses them by 100%. I love the fact that I can also do my quilt patterns with this machine and I can go on-line and add more designs if I want to. I get good clean cuts and can make my designs any size I want to. It's a fantastic machine and I don't need cartridges and can just take the machine when I want to travel. Thanks Brother for creating this wonderful machine.

Great product... A lot of learning
I love my scanncut, when I got it I tried it out then put it back in the box for a year. I recently discovered a great software that takes the mystery out of using this with all the various materials. It now sits in my studio table and gets used regularly, but there is a learning curve.
