    Best Scan n Cut yet
Love this new version of the amazing Scan n Cut machine! I have used the CM550DX at work to demonstrate to customers, (and to play with myself), but this is the machine I have at home. Connected to my wireless, I can design on Scan n Cut Canvas and load it to the machine. Such Fun!

So Glad I Took the Leap
I debated on whether to spend this much money on another crafting tool but I am glad I did. It was worth it. It is so easy to use.....pretty self-explanatory.

    Nice machine!
Best of breed as far as I can tell. Wanted something that would have various methods of input, i.e., scanner, usb memory, usb connect to PC, plus an assortment of internal graphics. Fairly easy to learn although it's a little quirky in spots--not exactly intuitive--but that is overcome by experience. There's a plethora of online tutorials available. Have only watched videos on ScanNCut Canvas; appears to be quite useful especially file conversion. Can input .PHC files which is handy.

    Great cutter; Good Scanner
One must be very careful in scanning that things are black and white....no dark or light grey figures, not even near-black or near-white. Otherwise the sensitive scanner has the machine try to cut out dots and lines. Except for that, the machine is wonderful, especially for folks with arthritis who can no longer use scissors, or those who are klutzy whose matte knives produce ragged cut outs.

    A dream come true
Finally got a Scan N Cut after eyeing it for over a year. Love it. Have not cut fabric with it yet, but intend to use it to cut applique patterns for my machine embroidery. Did use it to make some Christmas gifts using vinyl and card stock for ornaments. I knew I would love it when I first saw it. Being able to scan the material into the background to see where to cut your design let's you use up every bit of the paper/fabric.

    Easy to use
I purchased this because I had a project I was planning with a lot of applique. I do have a Cricut and I like that also, but I didn't want to purchase any more cartridges plus I have only used the Cricut for paper and hadn't ventured over to fabric. I liked the idea of the scanner so I could use my own drawings. Using it is very easy and simple to learn. I have had no problems at all. Very pleased with my purchase.

    Love this machine
This is a wonderful machine. After researching all the die cutters on the market, I decided on the Brother scanNcut. It does it all, from scanning to design, to cutting. I love the ability to resize before cutting, although I have had a couple problems with going to small, I can deal with that. My only complaint is the mat loses its "sticky" after only a few uses and has to be cleaned. (I now have two low tack mats, so I keep on cutting.) I have done lace cutouts, lettering and everything in ... read more between. Kudos to Brother for another great product. I can't wait to get the rhinestone kit.
