The Brother Certified Refurbished Promise means you will receive a "like new" product that meets the same functional and comprehensive testing standards as our new products. That means the device has been thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and comes with all accessories, cables, and operating software. These products are reconditioned by Brother technicians and meet up to 40 checkpoints of quality testing and technical compliance. These products also come with our standard limited warranty, plus technical support for the life of your product and are covered by our hassle-free return policy. You can expect your refurbished product to be free of major physical damage. Although slight blemishes are possible, we do our best to make sure it’s a product that you can be proud to own. Remember, our Brother Certified Refurbished products follow the same return policy as new products.

The packaging on refurbished products from Brother may be labeled either "Refurbished" or "Certified Reconditioned." Regardless of label, there is no difference in the refurbishment process, the components used, or the technicians who inspect and recondition these devices. In both cases, these products are covered with a Brother limited warranty.

Refurbished products can originate from a variety of sources, including customer returns and cancelled orders. Refurbished products may also be fully functional devices that leave our business partner’s warehouse and therefore can no longer be sold as new.
